Rebecca is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a distinguished academic and professional background in law and public policy. She holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Public International Law from University College London (UCL) and an upper second-class honours Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from London Metropolitan University, United Kingdom.
With over 15 years of senior-level experience in project management, Rebecca is a seasoned and versatile lawyer who has led and contributed to high-impact projects across Kenya and the wider East African region. Her work spans both local and international non-governmental organizations, where she has applied legal expertise to advance governance, democracy, and social justice.
Rebecca is deeply committed to using the law as a tool for societal transformation and improved livelihoods. Her extensive experience includes legal and policy development, research, and advocacy in areas such as access to justice, business and human rights, conflict management and peacebuilding, and gender studies.
Throughout her career, she has built strong collaborative relationships with government bodies,
academic institutions, private sector actors, and community organizations to influence policy and
strengthen legal frameworks. She is recognized as a visionary leader and strategic thinker, with a proven ability to design and implement impactful humanitarian and development interventions.
